• Dr. Khaled Soufi – EOS

President-elect of ISO and Chairman of the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality (EOS), Dr. Khaled Soufi brings over 25 years of experience in quality management across Egypt, Africa, China, and the Middle East. Holding a dual degree in Engineering and Quality Management Systems, he earned his MSc from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport and a PhD in Statistical Control and Quality Assurance, along with a Diploma in Laser Measurements. A former United Nations Expert with UNMIS and UNMISL, Dr. Soufi is an ISO, ARSO, and AIDSMO Council Member, actively contributing to the development of international standards while lecturing postgraduate courses and advancing global quality practices.

• Dr. Carmen Kaiser-Brügmann – Rigaku

Analytical chemist with over 21 years of experience specializing in XRF applications. Prior to joining Rigaku, she worked for PPC Cement Group Laboratory Service in South Africa, where she was responsible for reliable analytical data and accurate sample preparation for XRF analysis in various sites as an XRF Specialist. Carmen is well known for her extensive technical support including demonstrations, feasibility studies, XRF training and method development.

• Eng. Emre Caner – Rigaku

Electronics & Communication Engineer with nearly two decades of experience in X-ray analytical instrumentation. Starting his career as a Service Engineer for XRF and XRD systems, he advanced through leadership roles in sales and service for X-ray instruments and electron microscopy in Turkey. Today, he serves as Rigaku’s EMEA Sales Manager, overseeing distributor-based sales of XRD, XRF, and CT solutions across Southern Europe and Africa.

• Dr. Mohamed Younes – Tech Zone (CEO)

Chief Executive Officer of Tech Zone, brings nearly three decades of leadership in multinational cement and heavy industries. A former Lafarge executive, he has driven initiatives across 30+ countries, securing global partnerships and frame agreements, leading projects in safety and technical development, modernizing laboratory systems, and advancing training programs. As an active trainer and mentor, he has conducted over 35 international workshops and seminars, performed 50+ laboratory audits and assessments, and earned multiple leadership awards. Today, he continues to lead Tech Zone’s expansion across the Middle East and Africa.

• Eng. Mohamed Yahya – Tech Zone (COO)

Chief Operating Officer of Tech Zone, brings over 30 years of expertise in XRF, XRD, and laboratory equipment, with deep experience in technical and industrial operations across the mining, cement, metals, and oil & gas sectors. He has held senior roles at ASEC, Orascom, Lafarge Algeria, and led Technology Vision for 15 years, where he spearheaded major technical and operational initiatives. At Tech Zone, he directs operations, drives partnerships, and leads expansion in the scientific equipment sector, advancing customer-focused and sustainable solutions across Egypt, the Middle East, and beyond.
