It was a great pleasure to participate in the Mapei Academy for the second consecutive year in Egypt, held at the prestigious Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski on May 6–7, 2025. We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. Usama Abdelhamid and the Mapei Egypt team for their outstanding efforts in organizing such a successful and insightful event.

This year’s academy brought together leading experts from Mapei Egypt, Mapei UAE, and Mapei Italy, including:

As part of our contribution, Eng. Mohamed Yehia delivered a technical presentation on the vital role of XRF and XRD technologies in cement manufacturing, highlighting their critical impact on quality control, process optimization, and operational efficiency.

The session featured practical applications with Hitachi’s Handheld XRF and Rigaku’s advanced XRF and XRD systems, demonstrating their added value across the cement industry’s full production chain.
